Award-winning author Dee Lloyd credits her upbringing in a Northern Ontario mining town for her love of dramatic scenery and her conviction that nothing is impossible if a person is willing to work for it.

She is fascinated by electronic publishing and the fresh new settings and story lines that this new medium encourages.

Dee was married to Terry Sheils, award-winning author of horror and humorous mystery, for over forty years. She states, "Writing was as essential as breathing in our house. That's an impossible habit to break."

One of her six published Romantic Suspense novels, TIES THAT BLIND, won an Eppie Award for Contemporary Romance.

UNQUIET SPIRITS is a stand-alone novel from her DANGEROUS WATERS SERIES. Her second paranormal/ghost romance, it shares some characters with GHOST OF A CHANCE.
