Summary

Hunter is both wulf and man—an ex-cop and a natural protector who claims San Francisco as his hunting territory. One night, he is sidetracked by a whiff of a luscious aroma. Following his nose, he discovers a queen-sized lady of the evening—just his type of midnight snack. Melody is the product of an ancient, alien breeding experiment, her very genes designed to make her lust after Hunter. Is her attraction only the result of chemistry, or is she falling head over heels in love with this being who is more than a man?
