"Great SF romance"
Six men in three years tried to kill Argon ruler Kiile,
but each assassination attempt failed. Now her master
sends Katina to murder Kiile though she has never done
anything remotely like this before, but the person who
holds her contract decides a female might succeed whereas
males proved futile. Dressed as a dancing girl at Kiile's
birthday bash, Katina becomes the seventh loser when Kiile
reacts to her knife slash and her accomplice mistimed the
support. Kiile's men capture her. He sees an opportunity to learn
who is behind the endeavors to kill him. Kiile as an
Argon is legendary when it comes to sex and plans to use
that prowess to obtain the truth from his prisoner.
However, she fails to react to him like all women do. He
learns that she received a sex suppressant to insure she
would not just lay down her arms to be in his arms. Alas
he will have to be patient to seduce the facts from his
cute little pixie, but the hold her master has on her
might prove stronger than his most sensual skills. LOVE'S SWEET ASSASSIN is an exhilarating sword and romance
science fiction thriller that never slows down until the
final confrontation between the hero and the villain. The
story line is action packed whether the subplots are
intrigue or romance. As always in Angela Verdenius' great
novels, the lead couple enchants the audience and the
support cast brings to life various races and worlds. If
you have not tried a Ms. Verdenius book, you are missing
out on a sure thing. Harriet Klausner

SummaryTo discover the identity of his enemy, Kiile first had to
loosen the tongue of the assassin -- a short, sassy and most
outrageous wench.
At an Argon's mercy she might be, but Katina had a surprise
for this golden-haired sex god and it was all bad.
