Stephan Rashleigh, his brother, and his friends are Shadow Walkers, a group of men who fight and kill demons to keep Talisman Bay safe. Stephan is on patrol when he wanders into a strip club and sees Mariah DeSliva dancing. He is instantly enchanted but tries to overcome his attraction, because Shadow Walkers don't have committed relationships with the opposite sex. When Mariah is walking home, she is attacked by a demon and Stephan saves her. When she arrives home she tells her friend, Twila, of her ordeal. The next day, Twila has disappeared and there is evidence of a struggle. Mariah goes to Stephan for help.

Meanwhile, Twila has been captured by Craze, a Dread Lord intent on the destruction of the Shadow Walkers. One of Craze's henchmen, Freeze, takes care of Twila and there is a great attraction between them. Will Stephan and Mariah overcome the obstacles to their love and defeat Craze? Is Freeze really one of the bad guys?

LOVER'S TALISMAN is a very entertaining erotic, paranormal romance with an enthralling story line. I was totally caught up in this good versus evil story, and there were several surprises along the way. This is CHARMED with a better story line and a group of studly men, instead of witches. I can't wait to read the next story about Stephan's friend and fellow Shadow Walker, Dusty. However, the next main story that I want to read is Freeze's story. Bring on Freeze's story!
