"Very hot, sensual read!"
Mei Ling Zhao has decided to celebrate now that the
Chinatown Square project she is the head of is finally
moving forward. Since moving to Chicago, she really hasn't
met many people she considers friends and doesn't want to
sit in a bar by herself, so finally, she decides to crack
the bottle of champagne she's had chilling. Inheriting her
business acumen from her father, she's managed to do well
in the business world and left Texas for this position
with the Chinese American Development Corporation. Beginning to feel the effects of the champagne, she
starts
to reminisce. She knows everyone calls her "The Iron
Bitch". Most of the men under her think she's gay,
however, she's far from that. She just hasn't found any
men who interest her since moving to Texas. Now in Texas,
there was Travis Marshall. Of course, the fact Mei Ling
has a thing for tall Texan men, wearing Stetsons doesn't
play into this at all. Never having met Mr. Marshall, Mei
Ling believes him to be an old man. By this time, she's
pretty hungry and decides to order delivery and finds the
number for the CHINATOWN BUFFET in the phone book. So
imagine her surprise when more than an hour later, Mei
Ling is awakened by someone knocking at her door and when
she opens it, there stands her idea of the perfect man,
right down to the drawl! Will Mei Ling accept the man's version of "special
delivery"? Does she regret leaving Texas and the
mysterious Travis Marshall? Who is this tall Texan at her
door? CHINATOWN BUFFET is a very hot, sensual read. Shannon
Leigh does a wonderful job of portraying the life of a
female in a position of authority, right down to the
loneliness. The action in this story will definitely warm
you up on a cold winter night. Don't read this one alone!
