Crossing LinesMost romance readers hear Paranormal Romance associated with a romance book and say "not for me " or "Not my type" . But that is not true . Many Harlequin / Silhouette romance books have some Paranormal aspects in it . And served to help me like what I originally thought I wouldn't . It started back when Jacqueline Diamond wrote "Daddy Warlock" .This was a wonderful romance book full of Witchcraft and the unexplainable . And continued on over the years into Intriques and the like . But also , believe it or not , into Superromances , where authors Like Deb Salonen wrote paranormal into her release . Wonders Never Cease . And just went to prove to me that if you limit yourself to preconcieved ideas of what you should or shouldn't like in a book then you miss out on some great things , because sometimes you will find that the unexplainable is better than the known . So while most of these lines from HQ/Sil are mainly Romance as most people see it .They also have learned to Cross the lines to reach a bigger audience . And it works. Diana Who now reads any book put in front of her as long as it contains romance in it .
